Blockstream Local was created to make it easier for grassroots organizers to onboard new Bitcoiners using practical education and real tools. Learn more in our announcement blog here.

Use the form on blockstream.com/local to sign up for the Blockstream Local initiative.

  1. DM Blockstream Send us a DM on X @blockstream to confirm your registration and intent to host.
  2. Announce your event publicly Post your event details on X or Nostr and tag @blockstream. Allow at least one month lead time between your announcement and your meetup so we can ensure your Jades arrive in time.
  3. Receive your Jades We’ll send you coupon codes to claim up to 3 free Blockstream Jade Classics from the Blockstream Store.
  4. Host your meetup Run your session using the Bitcoin 101 slide deck and Jade setup guide.
  5. Share your results After the event, post a photo or short recap. We’ll help share your post to increase visibility.

Note: Meetups can request Jades once every six months.
